The exhibition opened with a private view in London on 09 November 2017 and ran until February 2018 at Aston Martin's brand experience centre at No.8 Dover Street in London's Mayfair.
The Aston Martin No. 8 Dover Street boutique is an expression of the British marque’s brand values. It showcases a carefully chosen portfolio of the finest artisan products and truly bespoke experiences that embody the Aston Martin spirit.
Aston Martin Chief Creative Officer, Marek Reichman said: 'It's fascinating for someone like me, a car designer, to see the work created by an artist like Louis. We share similar values, both striving for beautiful iconic design, using high quality materials and hand craftsmanship.'
The highlight of the exhibition was a collaboration with legendary photographer Terry O Neill to create a neon portrait of David Bowie based on a photo Terry took of David Bowie during filming of “The Man Who Fell To Earth” in 1976 on location in New Mexico. Terry O’Neill was one of the world’s most collected photographers with work hanging in national art galleries and private collections worldwide. From presidents to pop stars he photographed the frontline of fame for over six decades.
