About: This duotone print on brushed aluminium features a British One Pound note. The one pound note was issued by the Bank of England for the first time in 1797 and continued to be printed until 1984. This particular one was launched in 1978 featuring The Queen as a mature woman. It was withdrawn from circulation in 1988 in favour of the one pound coin.
